3D Work
The surrounding area has become an important part in my tree dimensional work where the location is the starting point. Often my work is an installation or 'composed' images but also performances, video and photographs can be a part of the work.

Funeral Design
I have always been interested in the way a human body is related to its surrounding in which it exists and in what way the body influences the feeling of freedom of the individual. Death, farewell and desire always played an important part in this. I wanted to transform these interests into a clear shape in which the idea was as important as the use of it. Funeral design and funeral art brought these interests together.

RUIM
In 1996 I formed, together with Jeannette van Raaij, Stichting RUIM (foundation RUIM). By this artists-initiative, which started with the name 6 OW, we realise art-projects on location. Besides the organisation of the projects, we also take part at the projects as artists.
